16 km north of Hythe, a spring fed lake, over 90 feet deep, includes boat launch, camp sites on loop road, fire pits & firewood, picnic tables, community kitchen, fresh well water, man-made beach and play ground, hiking trails around lake, change rooms.

The Village of Hythe operates the tourist booth along Highway 43 on a volunteer basis and with the help of a summer student. The tourist booth is open Wednesday – Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. during July and August.
The Sunderman log Tack Shop (1910) and the Toleff Omlid House (1917) which was originally a home built for a mail order bride but is now the present Historical Centre/Tourist Booth. (Unfortunately the groom missed the bride and the house was never lived in.) However today it is enjoyed as a museum.
The Hythe Municipal Campground has a good reputation with visitors along the Alaska Highway corridor. It provides visitors with 10 Full Service Sites (Back ins 15 x 30), 10 other sites. Two shelters, Fire pits. Firewood is free, 15-30 Amps, Water – tap, RV dumping station. Washroom facilities including hot showers in a vintage Northern Alberta Railway cabooses.

Rates:
Stalls 1 – 10 are Full Service Sites (Power, Water & Sewer) Nightly $35 +GST, Weekly $215 + GST, Monthly $850 + GST
Stalls 11 – 21 are (Power only) Nightly $25 + GST, Weekly $160 + GST and monthly $700 + GST.
Tents in the tenting area with no power are $15 +GST per night.
Dump Station, there is a $5.00 fee for non-campers using the dump station.

The Village of Hythe camp fees includes firewood and use of the public washrooms and showers provided in our caboose.

Spring Lake Ski Hill features downhill and x-country skiing and snowboarding at adult & beginner slopes, electric T-bar, ski chalet on site offering a place to rest, rental equipment and light snacks.
